In the middle of the Château grounds, the room we offer in a former school bus can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child aged 4 to 12 (at an additional cost).

It is a spacious and comfortable apartment with private bathroom facilities (shower and washbasin). In the BUS, you will have a view of the grounds and be isolated from other guests.

This is a completely refurbished, UNUSUAL accommodation that will allow you to ‘travel’ during your stay at the Château des Lumières (in Saint-Blimont, 10 minutes south of St-Valery sur Somme).

The Bus is a self-catering accommodation, so you are completely independent. There is a kitchenette, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, and classic Nespresso capsules (on sale at the Château for 80 cents). Located in the middle of the Château grounds, near the pétanque court at its private ‘bus stop’, you can stay there as if it were a holiday cottage while enjoying the Château's services and seeing rabbits and squirrels in the grounds in the morning!

It has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a single bed that can be used as an extra bed for a child or as a sofa if you want to watch television. There is a supplement of £19 for the extra bed, so please consult us in advance (suitable for children aged 4 to 12 and, depending on the weather, the lounge area cannot be rented in very hot or very cold weather).
